Whilst having fun and enjoying the tent is the number one priority, there are just a few important rules that we ask party guests to follow. Following these rules will make sure that not only are you safe, but also no harm will come to the tents.

If you're considering booking with us, or if you have booked with us, please make sure that you read this carefully as it contains important information about terms & conditions.

By making a booking with Lantana Events, you are agreeing to our terms & conditions as set out here.
All persons who enter our tents or are around our tents are the sole responsibility of you "the hirer".
Please be aware that accidents can happen if children are not properly supervised at all times and that this is you, "the hirers", responsibility.

Please have a safe party.

PAYMENT
When you book we will issue a deposit invoice for 30% of the party fee to secure the date. The remaining balance is due 3 days before the party date.

DAMAGES and BREAKAGES WAIVER
A refundable damages and breakages waiver of £50 is required at the time of booking which can be paid by cash or bank transfer. This will be refunded to you after the party minus any deductions if necessary, within 48 hours of all the equipment being collected and thoroughly checked for heavy soiling, breakages or missing items.

Please note that any attempted repairs to items that are damaged after we have set up will void the damages waiver and no refund will be given.
You are responsible for any damage and loss caused to the equipment whilst on hire, and therefore should the security deposit be insufficient to cover costs incurred to Lantana Events, you must agree to pay all costs to rectify this.

With regards to the Bell tent, although is it robust, we ask that you take care of the tent; please do not let children (or adults) swing on the centre pole, use the guy ropes to jump over, no smoking or fires are allowed inside the tent and do not allow pets inside the tent or to urinate on the tent. Please do not move the tent once Lantana Events staff have pitched the tent and left your hire premises. Evidence of any of these things will result in the loss of your security deposit and possibly additional charges incurred.

CANCELLATION POLICY
We require a minimum of 7 days' notice to change the date of the booking. The date can be changed, if the preferred date is available. Cancellations must be made at least 14 days before the party start date and if you need to cancel, a full refund will be given. As full payment is required at least 3 days before the party start date, any cancellations within 14 days before the party date are non-refundable.

The 5-metre Bell tent requires about 7-metres space to allow for the guy ropes to be safely pegged out. The 6-meter Bell tent requires about 8-metres space to allow for the guy ropes to be safely pegged out. The 7-meter Bell tent requires about 9-metres space to allow for the guy ropes to be safely pegged out. It is your responsibility to ensure there is enough space at the required venue when making a booking. Please make sure you have enough space to pitch the size of the Bell tent. Our normal cancellation policy applies should we be unable to pitch any of our tents safely on the day of the hire.

COVID-19 - In the event there is a lockdown applied in your area and we are unable to deliver and set up our bell tent due to the government and/or your local borough applying this restriction, and it falls on the day of your event, then we will firstly offer you an alternative date for your event. If this is not feasible for either party, in this instance only, we will issue you with a full refund. The same applies if there is a lockdown applied in our own borough and we are stopped from trading (London Borough of Bromley).

SAFETY
For our Bell tent we ask that you clear the ground of any debris, such as large/small stones that may damage the ground sheet and any pet mess. Try and choose a spot that is level, to increase safety. You must not use any cooking or gas appliances or naked flames inside any of our tents.

You agree that Lantana Events, its Agents, or Employees, accept no liability for any personal injury or damage to any persons or property suffered during the period of your usage. You must follow our guidance for the safe use of our tents as set out in these terms and conditions.

DELIVERY CHARGES
As we get requests to travel far and wide in the South-East, we have different levels of pricing for delivery based on the distance we need to travel. As we are making 4 trips to setup and collect the sleepover, this has obvious time and petrol implications the further we travel. We cover a 70 mile radius from TN16 for free. We are of course happy to venture outside of our area. There is a small delivery fee of mileage costs @45p per mile for mileage over and above the initial 70 mile radius.

TENT CARE
No smoking or fires are allowed inside the tent. Do not wear footwear inside the tent or on the beds. Shoes (especially stiletto heels), trainers or boots should NEVER be worn inside the tent. Soles of your shoes will bring in sharp twigs and small stones which can pierce the mattresses and/or damage the Bell tent's groundsheet. Shoes should be left outside the tents (in the shoe tray where provided). Do not take sharp objects inside the tent as they could cause damage to the tent. Do not force any of the zippers. If there is a fold in the fabric this may get caught in the zipper, please work to gently free it. Be careful not to damage the fabric or zippers.

Food & Drink - please take care when bringing food and drink in to the bell tent. Smelly, greasy and messy food is not permitted in the bell tent at any time. Please act immediately when spillages occur, and do not leave liquids to soak in to the bell tent fabric or coir flooring. Heavily soiled rugs, bedding and furnishings may need to be replaced and will be deducted from your breakages deposit. No chewing gum is allowed in the bell tent.
There may be condensation on the inside of the Bell tent in the morning, do not attempt to wipe this down, open the tent and allow it to dry naturally.
